Activities that are not to be missed here include Onesteel Steelworks tour, the Whyalla Maritime Museum, Tanderra Craft Village, and for a relaxed BBQ the Whyalla Wetlands is perfect. Another seaside fishing town is Cowell, where you'll find a wonderful B&B in Schultz Farm, which is certainly worthy of staying a night or so. Ensure that you check out the Cowell Jade Province, where gemstones are found in a unique variety of colours and patterns.
