The wheatbelt area is dotted with small farming communities and rolling hills which are rich in deposits of minerals, including, gold, nickel and iron ore. The Avon Valley has many drives winding through the delightful country side with picnic spots, wineries and orchards. Here you will find some wonderful farm stays and B&B's. There are numerous adventure sports in this region including white water rafting, sky diving and hot air ballooning. Other attractions include Wave Rock near Hyden, Wineries, Orchards and Yanchep National Park and Yanchep Caves.
