One of the highest peaks in the Flinders Ranges is Mount Brown, which is the home of varied flora and fauna, including the adorable Yellow-footed Rock wallabies. Along with rich animal and plant life, the Flinders Ranges National Park embraces an abundance of extraordinary geological structures including Lake Eyre, which is Australia's largest salt lake, the Wilpena Pound amphitheatre, Coongie Lakes as well as many other waterholes, lakes, deltas and shallow floodplains. Flinders Ranges and the outback is certainly areas that all Australians should visit.
