With organic cafes and vintage fashion boutiques to fabulous bookstores and a historic hotel, Maleny's vibrant Maple Street has something for everyone.
Visit The Buderim Ginger Factory in Yandina. Also famous for its' pub, Yandina has many heritage listed buildings and is a town full of character. Another spot located high in the Blackall Range is Mapleton, a great place to view the local birdlife. With the Mapleton Falls National Park and Forest Reserve protecting lush piccabeen palm groves, tall blackbutt forests and the giant bunya pines, this is surely a true paradise for bush walkers and bird watchers alike. Mapleton also boasts a number of massage therapists and alternative therapists, to soothe both the mind and body.
For the ardent hiker, The Great Walk begins near Montville. There are also many short rainforest walks with splendid views or stroll through the galleries, boutique wineries and cheese factories - Montville has so much to offer.
"Breathtaking views in every direction" describes The Glass House Mountains National Park. There are leisurely walks, scenic drives or, for the more adventurous, rock-climbing and abseiling adventures - all surrounded by these majestic mountains.
