Kalgoorlie, or Kalgoorlie-Boulder is a town of nearly 30,000 people and part of the extensive Goldfields-Esperance region.Kalgoorlie is now a thriving modern town still depending on its mining. This fascinating town has a lot to offer travellers of all ages, with their famous or infamous, Hay Street brothels, its two-up school, Town Hall and Mount Charlotte lookout. There are still many gracefully restored substantial architectural buildings from the gold rush days not to be missed such as the magnificent York Hotel, the Post Office and the Kalgoorlie Pub proudly stander on the corner.Esperance is blessed with the most magnificent white sandy beaches and pristine turquoise waters, ideal for long walks on the beach. For the fisherman there are fishing charters which catch Groper, Harlequin's, Queenie's, Nannygui's and many more.
