Gascoyne

Perhaps the most well known area of the Gascoyne Region is the Ningaloo Reef with it's multicoloured coral and marine life. More than 500 species of fish and 200 species of coral make this the largest coral fringing reef in the world. Boat charters, departing daily, will take you to the reef for coral viewing and snorkeling excursions. Daily feeding attracts North West Snapper, colourful Parrot Fish, Mullet, Wrasse, Fusiliers and many more. Other creatures found in the along Ningaloo Reef are Dugongs, Turtles, Dolphins, Humpback Whales, massive Manta Rays and gigantic Whale Sharks.
